Goldwells Grantown manager Lorna Drummond has been with Goldwells since the firm merged with Peter Munro and Company in 2018.
Lorna and her team work with a wide range of clients from different industries including hospitality, retail, transport, farming, digital and also various trades in the construction industry.
Specialising in owner managed businesses, small to medium sized limited companies and tax, Lorna reviews and finalises accounts and also provides tax planning advice for both personal and corporate clients.
Born and raised in the Highlands, Lorna has worked in accounts all her working life initially starting at a well known transport company in Inverness before moving into practice and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with ACCA in 2010. She has completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Accounting through Oxford Brookes University and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser with the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2021.
As a talented athlete in her younger days, Lorna loved sport and after moving to Kincraig, she played shinty for the Badenoch Ladies’ Shinty Club where the team won the women’s Camanachd Cup.
She enjoys the water and socialising and can be regularly found kayaking or paddle boarding at Loch Insh or dog walking around the Cairngorms.
Experienced and very well qualified, Lorna is an important part of the Goldwells team, and can be found in either the Kingussie or the Grantown on Spey office.
