As office manager for Goldwells in Buckie, Wendy Crosby is a well-known face in the town.
Having left The Gordon Schools in 1981, Wendy start working with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells in Huntly, before she married and moved to the Buckie area in the late 1980s. Wendy worked for another local firm in Buckie before joining Cowie & Co in 1999. Working her way up in the firm, Wendy was promoted to office manager in 2010, carrying on supporting the people of Buckie with tax returns and business finance advice.
When Cowie & Co merged with Goldwells in 2014, Wendy continued in her role as office manager where she remains today. With 40 years of experience in accountancy practice, Wendy has extensive experience of accounts and has worked with a variety of clients and individuals from farmers to food manufacturers. In Buckie, the client-base includes sole traders, partnerships and large organisations, and is based on the North Sea coastline, the office also specialises in Seafarers’ Earning Deduction claims and oil and gas workers claiming overseas tax offsets.
In her spare time Wendy is involved with Clochan village hall helping out with various fundraising events. She is also a member of Arradoul SWI where she enjoys competing in the local baking and crafting competitions. The Goldwells policy of not working Fridays is great for Wendy now as it means she gets to spend more time with her new granddaughter.
